►►►Cosmic Yoga

There is a brokenness
Out of which comes the unbroken,
A shatteredness out
Of which blooms the unshatterable,
There is a sorrow
Beyond all grief which leads to joy
And a fragility
Out of whose depths emerges strength.
There is a hollow space
Too vast for words
Through which we pass with each loss,
Out of darkness
We are sanctioned into being.
There is a cry deeper than all sound
Whose serrated edges cut the heart
As we break open
To the place inside which is unbreakable
And whole, While learning to sing.
- Rashani

This day was truly sent to us from the Cosmos. I just got back from visiting family in Virginia which is always a little sad for me because I live so far away...but I arrived home to the most gorgeous day I've seen in December; 83 degrees, sun shining and skies so blue and mesmerizing. I invited my friend Matt to go down to the beach with me and practice yoga and we both felt the cosmic energy ignite our practice. We both nailed inversions we'd never tried before and happened to capture a few of those special moments. There is no amount of sadness that a little yoga, inversion, and a gorgeous day on the beach can't cure. X
