I am a princess. All girls are. Even if they live in tiny old attics. Even if they dress in rags, even if they aren't pretty, or smart, or young. They're still princesses. All of us. Didn't your father ever tell you that? Didn't he?

This day was so incredibly memorable for me //
my very first shoot with Chelsea :)
I've been saving this post for just the right time. This was the first look we did -- I just remember grabbing my favorite pieces from my wardrobe and pulling them together instinctually and without hesitation. What are my ideal Goddess threads? one. hot pink high wasted maxi skirt (a must). i call mine the malibu barbie skirt :) its just so much fun! its an amazing statement piece for sure. : two. favorite bralette top, if you must throw a denim shirt over it suppose you could do that, kinda wish id tried it just for just one photo. three. jeweled goddess headband (duh). and lastly, four. RINGS! + bracelets. stack 'em high, you can never can have too many.
Its amazing how clothes can transform us. That perfect combination of fabric and silhouette may seem trite, but it can uplift our mood, improve our self image, and be a healthy exercise of free will and limitless expression. I've always said, if I could choose my thoughts as carefully as I choose my clothes I would be a great Buddhist. ;) Remember to always shine, and what a better way to do so then by playing dress up daily. X

This post is dedicated to all the Goddesses in my life who teach me what it is to be truly Divine. To Chelsea, who encourages me to take my blog to the next level, to play dress up always, and to bask in my divinity. These insanely gorgeous photos reflect the cosmic connection we share and I am so grateful to have her as a sister ♥ To my Mom and Sister and some of my best friends, Monique Damm, Lisa Autrey, Callie Beck, Lauren Hill, Niki Spadaro, and Angie Tripp for exercising their unique talents with a pioneer spirit and fearless ingenuity that is dreamy and contagious and inspires me daily. Anoher thank you to Callie for showing me a movie called Ruby Sparks tonight which just slightly changed my life (go rent it now). so much love to you all xx
