►►► bell bottom blues
photos: Chelsea Erwin Top/Anthropologie | Jeans/Citizens of Humanity | Hat/American Apparel |
These jeans are my favorite piece in my entire wardrobe. I have said on more than one occasion that you could burn my wardrobe to the ground but I'll always go back for my Citizens! To me, a classic bellbottom will never go out of style. The high waist and fit through the upper leg elongate the body while creating an hourglass by belling out at the knee. This crop top is another one of my favorites, the cut outs add such a fun detail that reference the geometric design throughout. LOVE! And of course I had to purchase a wool floppy hat last year after drooling over pics from Coachella:) The 70s may be long gone but they live on in my heart and in my closet for sure!
xx.

▶▶▶ Tallow Gallery
photos: tallowgallery.com I love when i am introduced to a brand that i feel just reached inside my heart, pulled out everything I love about life, love and style and then created my ultimate wonderland :) i felt this a year or so ago when my dear friend Lauren Hill introduced me to the workings of two Aussie muses, Ali Mandalis and Shannon Clynes. From swimwear and wetsuits to apparel and accessories, the ladies at Tallow Gallery have effortlessly translated the grace and natural beauty of women's surfing into a vast array of creative expression. Collaborations with artists from all over the world can be seen in their Artist Series Collections and bring even more diversity to this Bohemian smash up of surfing and fashion. Needless to say I am obsessed..these photos are from spring/summer and I am dying to see what they do next. happy monday everyone xx. |

▶▶▶ leather + fringe
dress/ezekiel | jacket/metropark | boots/gojane | bag/billabong photography: Chelsea Erwin i'm super stoked to unveil this collaboration of creative minds in the next few weeks to come..welcome to the world of GypseaLove x Chelsea Erwin. I have had so much fun styling and shooting and laughing with this wonder woman, I cannot wait to work together again! next time hopefully on an underwater shoot (her specialty!) :) When I get dressed everyday I keep a few things in mind >> comfort, style, and juxtaposition. I love to mix prints, fabrics and genres for an unexpected outcome. Pairing a ditzy floral, feminine sundress back to a motorcycle boot + leather jacket is an amazing way to mix tough and tame as well as transition from summer to fall. This cheetah scarf is one of my FAVORITE add ons (you'll probably see it a lot on here) and I treat it as a neutral, like most of my animal print accessories. Add the turquoise fringe cross-body and you've officially put a Gypsea twist on a badass Hell's Angels inspired look. Keep checking back for many more posts to come! x. |
